South Windsor Police Log for April 9 - 11
The following information was provided by the South Windsor Police Department. It does not indicate convictions.

Hector Vazquez, 23, of Hartford, was charged on April 12 with interfering with an officer and was later released on $2,500 non-surety bond. He is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on April 25.
His charge stems from an incident that occurred on Friday morning in which a South Windsor Police officer attempted to stop a vehicle on John Fitch Boulevard for a violation. According to police, the suspect vehicle continued to ignore the officer’s signal and crossed into East Hartford where the three vehicle occupants fled on foot.
Police Sgt. Scott Custer said that South Windsor and East Hartford officers searched for the suspects with the assistance of the Windsor Locks canine team. Officers located one man, Vazquez, who had been a passenger in the vehicle and took him into custody.
Officers are continuing to investigate this incident and are working to identify the two other suspects that fled.
Lisa Osgood, 38, of Newington, was charged burglary in the third degree and larceny in the fifth degree. She was held on $100,000 surety bond and was scheduled be presented at Manchester Superior Court Friday morning.
Osgood’s charges stem from a February 2013 burglary investigation at a local funeral home, according to police. Two 18-inch flat screen televisions had been stolen from the lobby of the business, police said. Investigators determined that Osgood had been in the area and obtained a confession from her, according to police. An arrest warrant was later obtained and was served on Thursday morning.
Jeffrey Daigneault, 36, of Vernon was charged on April 10 with assault in the second degree and was held on $20,000 surety bond. He was presented at Manchester Superior Court later on Wednesday morning, April 10.
Daigneault’s charge stems from an October 2012 motor vehicle accident in which he drove into a house on Niederwerfer Road. One of the occupants of the home sustained serious injuries due a wall collapsing. An arrest warrant was obtained for Daigneault and was served Wednesday morning.
Steven Markiewicz, 48, of 19 Scantic Meadow Drive, was charged on April 10 with failure to pay or plead and was later released on $150 cash bond. He is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on April 25.
