South Windsor Resident Awarded Fulbright Grant

A South Windsor resident was recently awarded a Fulbright grant to pursue a Master of Arts degree in 18th century studies at the University of Southampton in Britain.

Julia Hamilton, ’12, who majored in music and English while at Holy Cross in Worchester, MA, is working toward becoming a music history professor.

Hamilton is one of approximately 1,000 college students awarded a grant this year through the Fulbright Program, the United States' "flagship program in international educational exchange," according to the college's Web site.
