South Windsor Scouts Lay Flags on Veterans' Graves

The event commemorates Memorial Day.

As part of Memorial Day weekend, South Windsor Boy Scouts from Troops 186 and 880 placed flags on veterans graves at Wapping Cemetery on Friday evening.

The scouts placed about 450 flags around the cemetery, according to Patti Pelletier, who took the photos that accompany this post.
