The Connecticut public high school track and field season is drawing to a close, with one more meet to take place on Monday: the State Open.
South Windsor High's Michelle Otaluka is the Open's No. 6 seed in the 100 meters and the No. 4 seed in the 200.
Otaluka, a sophomore, is the state Class L champion in both events, finishing with times of 12.41 in the 100 and 25.62 in the 200.
Her performances helped lead South Windsor to a 9th-place finish in Class L with 36 points.
