Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run to Pass Through South Windsor on June 6
Run will go through town on June 6 starting at 1:30 p.m.

The following is a release from the South Windsor Police Department:
This year’s Connecticut Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run will take place on Thursday, June 6. The Torch Run runners will enter South Windsor from Manchester on Rt. 30 (Oakland Road) at approximately 1:30 p.m, and continue to South Windsor Fire headquarters, 1175 Ellington Road.
There will be a 30-minute break, after which the runners will continue down Rt. 30 (Ellington Road) to Chapel Road where they will be picked up. There may be some small traffic delays during the torch run; however no roads will be closed for the event.
