Top 3 April Fool's Jokes, South Windsor Town Council, School Board Joint Meeting

Good morning, South Windsor! Today is Tuesday, April 2, 2013; there are 273 days left in the year.

Every year it seems like April Fool’s Day brings more and more elaborate pranks, even from the corporate world. Like everything else in the world, some are good, some are bad and some are just plain ugly.

Here’s my list of the top 3 from this year:

1. Google Nose. The eponymous search engine/world ruler made me chuckle again this year, this time with a beta-tested smell function. Bravo.

2. Netflix’s hyper-focused categories. This one actually delivers a service, breaking down films into categories such as ones that feature Nicolas Cage freakouts.

3. Scope’s bacon-flavored mouthwash. Presumably this is an April Fool’s joke. But a man can dream, can’t he?
