Weird Science is Going to Be Remade? Ugh. South Windsor High Sports Sked, Weekend Fun
Here are five things going on in the area today.

Good morning, South Windsor! Today is Friday, Friday, gotta get down on Friday, party and party and party and YEAH! April 19, 2013; there are 256 days left in the year.
Friends, have a seat next to your friendly neighborhood local editor.
I got me a problem:
Hollywood is hell bent on ruining the movies from my youth.
Footloose? Fine. Red Dawn and Point Break? Meh, they were never good movies, anyway.
Heck, they even made a palatable 21 Jump Street movie.
Now I hear there’s a Weird Science remake in the works.
But with each passing reworking, they are creeping ever-closer to The Breakfast Club, or, as I prefer to call it, the Citizen Kane of the 1980s. And that, kids, is where I draw the line.
Then I'll totally be like, "Hey. Not cool."
