A car slammed into a building in Stafford, state police said.

STAFFORD, CT — A commercial building was hit by a car in Stafford, state police said.
State police released details of the Sept. 2 incident this week.
According to an accident report, at 1:41 p.m. that day, a 57-year-old Vernon resident driving a 2000 Honda accord pulled into a parking lot off West Main Street and struck a building that housed a laundromat.

He was not injured, but the car was towed from scene, according to an accident report.
The building was determined to be structurally sound and the laundromat continued to operate, according to a crash report.
