WILLINGTON, CT — The vehicles of two teenage drivers tangled in Willington last week and a firehouse sign received the worst of it, state police said.

According to. crash report, a 2016 Ford Explorer with an 18-year-old Willington woman driving was heading west on Route 74 in Willington and a 2016 Subaru Outback with an 18-year-old woman from Griswold behind the wheel was at a stop sign at the intersection with Rout 320.

The driver of the Subaru made a left without regard for the Explorer and the two vehicles collided, according to a crash report.

The Subaru spun out and hit a sign on the Route 74 shoulder that warns drivers of a upcoming firehouse, a crash report indicates.

No one was injured, state police said.
