Large Camper Whacks Parked Cars In Stafford
A full-size camper wreaked havoc on Main Street in Stafford, state police said.

STAFFORD, CT — A camper whacked two parked cars in the heart of Stafford last week, state police said.
The incident took place just priopr to 11 a.m. on Main Street, state police said.
According to a crash report, a 2016 Jeep Cherokee and a 2014 Honda Accord were parked and unoccupied on the eastbound shoulder. Along came a 60-year-old Florida woman driving a 2016 Winnebego Adventurer camper and the full-size camper tore off the side mirror of the Honda, according to a crash report.

The side mirror bracket then broke off the camper and hit the Jeep, according to a crash report.
During their investigation, state troopers discovered the camper was not registered and the Florida owners were not carrying insurance on it, according to a crash report. The driver was charged with failure to drive right and an insurance violation, according to a crash report.
