STAFFORD, CT — State police are looking for a vintage Ford Mustang that hit a sport utility vehicle in Stafford over the weekend and left the scene.

According to a crash report, at 2:37 p.m. Saturday, a 2004 GMC Yukon was stopped at the intersection of routes 32 and 190 in Stafford. The driver, a 64-year-old Ellington man, told state police he noticed an "older model white Mustang" behind him, which then made contact with the Yukon, according to a crash report.

The Yukon pulled into a nearby gas station, as did the Mustang, but the Mustang then sped back onto Route 190 and headed toward the center of Stafford, according to a crash report.
