WILLINGTON, CT — A state police vehicle was hit in a commuter lot off of Interstate 84, authorities said.

According to a crash report, just before 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 11, ca state police cruiser was parked on the side of the Route 32 commuter lot in Willington.

An Ford heavy duty "crash truck" was negotiating a turn on the lot when it hit the police vehicle from the rear.

No one ws hurt, but the driver of the wrecker, a 55-year-old Taftville man, was issued a verbal warning for making an improper turn, according to a crash report.
