2 Untimely Deaths Reported In Stamford, IDs Released: Police
A woman was found dead at a bus stop and a man was found dead at a park Saturday in separate, unrelated incidents, police said.
STAMFORD, CT — Two people were found dead in separate, unrelated incidents in Stamford on Saturday morning, and police said both deaths were considered "untimely."
A 50-year-old woman, later identified as Johanna Beatriz Navas-Gonzalez, was found dead at a bus stop in the area of 800 E. Main St., police said in a news release Saturday evening.
In a separate incident, a 52-year-old man, identified as Francisco J. Diaz-Aquino, was found dead in Cummings Park near the softball fields, police said.

"At this time, there are no signs of foul play observed in either case," police said. "A possible contributing factor in both incidents may be exposure to the elements; however, the official cause and manner of death cannot be confirmed until autopsies are completed by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. Both investigations remain ongoing."
Additional information will be released as it becomes available, according to police.
