ANYTHING GOES Sets Sail at Curtain Call!
Strong sales demand adds another performance
STAMFORD, CT - Curtain Call proudly presents a spectacular new production of Cole Porter's romantic comedy musical ANYTHING GOES, running through April 26. This fresh revival, featuring an updated script that speaks to contemporary audiences while maintaining the show's timeless charm, is directed by Gordon Casagrande with musical direction by Matt Stolfi and choreography by Karen Casagrande.
This updated version features beloved Cole Porter classics including "I Get a Kick Out of You," "You're the Top," "Friendship," "It's De-Lovely," "Easy to Love," "Goodbye, Little Dream, Goodbye," "Buddie, Beware," and the iconic title song. "I've been a huge fan of Porter's music since first singing "You're the Top" in a musical review 50 years ago," said Lou Ursone, producer of this new production.
Leading the cast of 30 talented performers, Anne Cavaliere takes the helm as the evangelizing nightclub singer Reno Sweeney, with Chris Balestriere as the lovestruck Billy Crocker. Samantha Van Nostrand portrays Hope Harcourt, the object of Billy's affections, while David Anctil and Bruce Crilly share the role of the eccentric Lord Evelyn Oakleigh in alternating performances.
The principal cast is completed by Tommy DeSalvo and Dan Travers (alternating as Moonface Martin), Jean Carucci (Evangeline Harcourt), William Squier (Elisha Whitney), and Alexis Fabricant (Erma).

- Angels: Lauren Braconi, Jenna Colavito, Regan Flynn, Renata Montalto, Kelly Nayden, and Anna Yanisko

- Sailors and Passengers: Alyssa Cook, Jim Hisey, Anthony Lazlo, Kaitlyn Moccia, Amy Plent, Lauren Sugantino, Veronique Shaftel (Photographer), Libby Whitely Scherer (Reporter), and Aranka Vitarius
Remaining Evening Performances (7:30 pm): April 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26 plus the new Saturday 2pm matinee on the 26th.
