The exhibit offers a fun, creative way for visitors and residents alike to explore our city, discover incredible art, and enjoy everything Downtown has to offer," Annette Einhorn told Patch via email. Einhorn is the senior director of marketing and branding at Stamford Downtown.
"We’re especially excited to launch the Otocast mobile audio tour, a free mobile app, which will make it even easier for everyone to engage with the artists and their stories," Einhorn added. "We hope this exhibit not only delights but also drives more foot traffic to support our local businesses."

The pig sculptures came from a custom 3-D fabricator in Nebraska, according to Stamford Downtown.
Each pig is uniquely themed and decorated. Pig design names range from "Pig in a Blanket" and "Elvis Piggsley," to "This Piggy Went to Market" and "Honey Ham." Each sculpture will be sponsored by a business or organization.
Art in Public Places is one of Stamford Downtown’s signature events which engages the public in the arts and enlivens downtown streets and parks.
Now in its 32nd year, this public art program is one of the city’s premiere cultural events.
Since its inception, Art in Public Places has grown in size and prominence, providing major works of outdoor sculpture for all to enjoy and drawing a regional audience to the city.
Some sculptures are still available for sponsorship. Contact Stamford Downtown for more information.
