The annual Stamford St. Patrick's Day Parade is scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2026.

STAMFORD, CT — The Irish American Cultural Society of Stamford has named Daniel P. Brennan as grand marshal of the 2026 Stamford St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which is scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2026.

Brennan, a partner at Brennan & Vlahakis Insurance Agency on Summer Street, was introduced as grand marshal during an Oct. 9 event at Stamford’s Hibernian Hall, General Philip Sheridan Division, on Greyrock Place. The announcement drew family, friends and community members for an evening of celebration marking the start of the 2026 parade season.

A fifth-generation Stamford native and Irish American, Daniel Brennan’s family history in the city dates back to his great-great-grandfather, William R.H. Brennan, who emigrated from Ireland in the 1800s. His great-grandfather, William H. Brennan, served as Stamford’s second chief of police from 1903 until his death in 1923.
