Inaugural Mill River Park Holiday Market Weekend Upcoming In Stamford: Details

The two-day celebration will feature local vendors, seasonal treats, and family activities.

STAMFORD, CT — Mill River Park will be transformed into a winter wonderland next month as the Mill River Park Collaborative hosts its first Holiday Market Weekend on Dec. 6 and 7 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The two-day celebration will feature local vendors, seasonal treats, and family activities, including visits with Santa Claus, ice skating, and fresh-cut Christmas tree sales. Admission is free, with optional donations supporting Mill River Park’s community programming.

Presented in partnership with Parachute Concerts, Hey Stamford, Stamford Moms, Lucky Dog Refuge, and Stamford Downtown, the event aims to highlight Stamford’s community spirit and local businesses.

"We’re thrilled to create a new holiday tradition in Stamford that brings families, neighbors, and local businesses together," said Mill River Park Collaborative Board Chair Arnold M. Karp, in a news release. "With Santa Claus, Christmas trees, skating, and local vendors, it’s everything we love about the holidays in one place — and another example of how Mill River Park continues its outstanding year-round programming for the community."

The Holiday Market will include ice skating at the Cohen Skating Center, hot chocolate and fire pits, a craft and artisan market, and food from local vendors.

The event’s rain or snow dates are Dec. 13 and 14. Admission is free, but attendees are encouraged to reserve tickets or make a donation at weblink.donorperfect.com/holiday-market-2025.
