She is a nurse in the research department of Stamford Hospital.
Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Maryanne was asked to move into the ICU during the peak of the virus on the second shift. While mentoring my young daughter who is a nurse also at Stamford Hospital. She takes great care of her patients and her colleagues.
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
She goes to work every shift and gives her all and helps my daughter and other nurses through this nightmare.
