Stamford Beach And Parking Permits Now Available: Here's What To Know

Beach permits for 2025 are now available and can be purchased either online or in person at the Stamford Government Center.

STAMFORD, CT — The arrival of Memorial Day Weekend also means the arrival of beach season.

Beach permits for 2025 are now available and can be purchased either online (encouraged) or in person at the Stamford Government Center.

Permits purchased online are processed daily with short turnaround times. Residents can purchase permits online by setting up an account and using the City of Stamford's online permitting system.

If you are a senior (over the age of 62) or are a person with a disability, you may be eligible for a beach and parking pass that is linked to your residency which you can use when taken to the beach.

Seasonal Beach Permit Fees

  • Stamford resident (with a car registered in Stamford): $26.59
  • Stamford resident (with a vehicle NOT registered in Stamford): $116.99
  • Senior Stamford resident (with vehicle registered in Stamford): $7.44
  • Senior Stamford resident (with vehicle NOT registered in Stamford): $37.22
  • Seasonal pass for non-residents: $292.46
  • Active-duty miliary personnel, veterans and spouses (MUST be Stamford residents): Free
  • Gold Star family members (MUST be Stamford residents): Free

Daily Passes

Daily beach passes are available to purchase at the beach entrance.

  • Car registered in Stamford: $26.50
  • Car NOT registered in Stamford: $42.50 on weekdays, and $69 on weekends and holidays

Full season permits will not be sold at the beaches.
