Stamford's 2024 Veterans Day Parade And Ceremony: Here's What To Know

Here are the details for this year's Veterans Day parade and ceremony in Stamford.

STAMFORD, CT — The 2024 Stamford Veterans Day parade and ceremony is set for Sunday, Nov. 10.

The parade will step off at 12 p.m. from the Stamford Police Department and it will go down Bedford Street, across Broad Street and onto Atlantic Street.

This year's grand marshal for the parade is retired Air Force Lt. Col. Genie Delois Camacho, who has lived in Stamford for over 30 years.

Camacho's Air Force career spanned 30 years and included deployments all over the world.

The parade will end at Veterans Memorial Park, where there will be a ceremony at 1 p.m.

As part of the ceremony, there will be an unveiling for the Historic Retrospective Phase II, featuring a veteran and military history kiosk and a medal of honor plaque.

There is no rain date for the event.
