'Summer In the Park' Begins July 10 In Stamford: Here's What To Know

The inaugural event will begin at Mill River Park on Thursday with a concert from two hip hop icons.

STAMFORD, CT — Summer in the Park, a new event from Mill River Park, Parachute Concerts, Stamford Downtown, The Karp Family, and Hey Stamford!, will begin on July 10 and unite music lovers, foodies, and culture seekers alike.

The inaugural three-week celebration kicks off at Mill River Park, and will feature headline concerts, a food festival, and outdoor entertainment.

The concert series features headline performances by Busta Rhymes, Aly & AJ, Soulja Boy, Bow Wow, Fariana, and more—and culminates with the return of the beloved Hey Stamford! Food Festival, now in its eighth year.

Additionally on each Friday night at Mill River Park, attendees can find Connecticut’s ultimate outdoor happy hour, featuring live tribute bands, themed bars, and rotating food vendors.

Here's a rundown of the three-week celebration:

Live Music Under the Stars at Mill River Park

Live music at Mill River Park | 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.,

  • Thursday, July 10: Busta Rhymes and Fabolous. Local favorite Jahan Nostra kicks off the show.
  • Saturday, July 12: Aly & AJ – Pop duo returns with fan-favorite hits and fresh new sounds.
  • Sunday, July 13: The Midtown Men, original stars from Broadway’s "Jersey Boys," bring the sounds of the '60s to life.
  • Thursday, July 17: Bow Wow, Soulja Boy – A 2000s throwback party.
  • Saturday, July 19: Colombian Independence Day featuring authentic. cuisine, dance troupes, and singer, rapper and songwriter Fariana.
  • Thursday, July 24: Mariah the Scientist – Rising alt-R&B star.

Summer Fun Fridays

Every Friday | 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. | Ages 21-plus

  • July 11: Raise Your Hands – A high-energy tribute to Bon Jovi

Hey Stamford! Food Festival

July 26 & 27 | all ages | 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The region’s top food trucks and restaurant vendors will gather in Stamford for a weekend packed with flavor, fun, and non-stop bites.

Now in its eighth year, the Hey Stamford! Food Festival will feature:

  • Dozens of curated food vendors
  • Live music performances
  • Themed cocktail bars
  • Interactive culinary experiences for all ages
