2 Road Work Projects Begin In Stonington, Mystic
The town announced two projects are beginning that will affect drivers in the coming weeks.

STONINGTON, CT — The Stonington Department of Public Works will have crews on Lantern Hill Road and Linda Avenue repairing catch basins.
The work starts Tuesday and will continue for the next several weeks in preparation for upcoming paving, according to a statement from the town.
The state Department of Transportation will be milling and paving Route 1 in downtown Mystic.

This work takes place primarily during the overnight hours starting at 7 p.m., the town said. This will occur during the next several nights between the drawbridge and the train station.
Traffic control will be on site but drivers are asked to pay attention and drive carefully.
