90-Year-Old Man Reported Missing In Stonington

Emergency personnel are checking properties and wooded areas on Sunday, town officials said.

STONINGTON, CT — The Town of Stonington, CT said first responders are searching for an elderly man.

"The Stonington Police in coordination with other first responders continue to search for an elderly male with dementia that wandered from his home yesterday around 2pm," officials said. "If you live in the area of Sunrise Ave, Riverside Drive, River Rd, Greenhaven Rd, Green Ave and Schiller Ave please expect to see...emergency personnel checking properties and wooded areas. If you live in this area please check home surveillance for any evidence that may be helpful to police. The missing person is described as a 90 year old white male, 5'8", 155lbs, last seen wearing a camouflage hat, brown jacket, winter gloves, khaki pants with one gray sneaker and one slipper.
