Car Crashes Into Multiple Road Signs, Pawcatuck Man Thrown From Car, State Police Say
The ID of the Pawcatuck man who died in the crash has been released.

GROTON, CT — A Pawcatuck man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on I-95 in Groton, state police said.
On Thanksgiving Day, Troop E responded to the area of exit 89 on I-95 for a motor vehicle that rolled over, state police said.
A 2019 BMW X 3 was found upside down in the right shoulder of the exit 89 ramp after colliding with multiple road signs, an illumination pole and other objects in the road, state police said.

The driver was thrown from the vehicle and sustained fatal injuries, state police said. Derek Curtis, 35, of Greenhaven Road, died in the crash.
The crash is under investigation.
