Celebrate Mystic Returns For 3rd Year

​The festival will open with 14 local restaurants, a concert stage, and fun for everyone.

MYSTIC, CT — Celebrate Mystic began two years ago to Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Mystic Bascule Bridge. This year we are focusing on Mystic and all it has to offer, particularly for the local community!

On Saturday, October 5, at 1 PM, Cottrell Street will open with 14 local restaurants, a concert stage and fun for everyone.

This year Celebrate Mystic features local restaurants offering their favorite dishes. Participating restaurants include Shipwright’s Daughter, 85th Day Food Community, Bank & Bridge, Favorite’s Bistro Bar, Golden Dragon (Foxwoods Resort Casino), Rocks 21, Mystic Drawbridge Ice Cream, Surf Cantina and Chapter One, Toast & Tonic, River Bar, Bleu Ginger and Lancer Hospitality. The Spicer Propane Celebrate Mystic Stage will feature 60’s Explosion Show from 1pm to 4pm. They are not just playing the best pop music of the ages, but provide a true dance and party experience. Following them at 5pm is local favorites Wicked Peach, from 5pm to 8pm. Wicked Peach is the area’s ultimate rock cover band!

Looking forward to this year’s event, Bruce Flax, President of the Greater Mystic Chamber, is excited, "This year, we are celebrating Mystic and how it continues to elevate the region. This is a day for the locals to come down, enjoy food, music and libations!”
