Comedian Chelsea Handler Dines At Mystic Restaurant

The former host of "Chelsea Lately" swung by a heralded Mystic establishment ahead of her show at Foxwoods.

MYSTIC, CT — Chelsea Handler, a comedian and TV host currently on tour, dined at Mystic restaurant the Oyster Club this past weekend, according to Hearst Connecticut Media.

Handler stopped by ahead of her Sept. 7 show at Foxwoods Resort Casino.

Handler was the host of the E! series "Chelsea Lately." She has an advice podcast titled "Dear Chelsea," has done numerous stand-up comedy specials, and written five books.

The Oyster Club has had other recent celebrity guests. Chef Gordon Ramsay stopped by the restaurant in May and was reportedly impressed by the food.

Ramsay was in the area as his show "Hell's Kitchen" was filming nearby at Foxwoods Resort Casino over the summer. The 23rd and 24th seasons of the show were shot at the casino.

Oyster Club Chef Renee Touponce was a nominee for a 2024 James Beard Award. Touponce was a finalist for the award last year as well and was named Chef of the Year at the Connecticut Restaurant Association's 2022 CRazies Awards.

The restaurant has received numerous accolades including landing on CT Magazine's best of list.
