What To Know About State Police DUI Checkpoint In Stonington

Police will be on the lookout for impaired drivers over the holiday weekend.

STONINGTON, CT — State police have announced that a DUI checkpoint will be conducted in Stonington over the holiday weekend.

State police tweeted the following:

"Prepare for Holiday Weekend traffic! Your CT State Troopers want to prevent accidents, so please follow the rules of the road: buckle up, adhere to the speed limit, ditch cell phone, and concentrate on the primary job when behind the wheel - driving."

The checkpoint will be Monday on Route 78 at Route 2 from 5:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
