Lifetime Movie To Be Filmed In Mystic

The Inn at Mystic will be the backdrop for an upcoming Lifetime movie and producers are looking for extras.

MYSTIC, CT — A Lifetime movie set in Mystic will begin filming this week, according to FOX 61. The movie, titled "How to Live Your Best Death," centers around main character Kristin, who is seeking professional help to get her career on track.

The life coach Kristin hires ends up becoming deeply involved in other parts of her life. The movie is being made by Synthetic Cinema, a Rocky Hill based company, according to FOX 61.

Filming will be at the Inn at Mystic on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Synthetic Cinemas has a track record of producing films shot in Connecticut. "Stalker's Prey 3," another Lifetime movie, was shot in East Lyme, New London, and Ledyard in 2020. The first two movies in the series were filmed in Niantic, Old Lyme, and Mystic.
