Mystic Annual Halloween Parade, Trunk Or Treat Coming Up
The 3rd Annual Halloween Parade and Trunk or Treat in downtown Mystic is scheduled for this weekend.

MYSTIC, CT — The Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Mystic Fire Department will have the 3rd Annual Halloween Parade and Trunk or Treat in downtown Mystic on Sunday, October 27th at 1 p.m.
The parade will follow the traditional route it has always taken beginning on Water Street, taking a right onto US Route 1 and going over the Bascule Bridge, turning right onto Cottrell Street, passing by Mystic River Park, then a left onto Washington Street, and finally turning back onto Route 1 into the fire station.

The parade gathers at one o’clock in front of Friar Tucks on Water Street and will depart at 1:05 p.m. Following the parade, there will be plenty of activities at the fire station including snacks and a 21 trunk-or-treaters behind the fire station.
Stonington High School and Fitch High School are sending several students over and to engage the ghost and goblins in a variety of arts and craft activities. All of the activities will take place inside the fire department’s open bays where there is plenty of space for everybody.

This is true a community event with the Mystic Fire Department, the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce, Stonington Police, Groton Town Police, Stonington High School and Fitch High School all pitching in.
Bruce Flax, president of the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce said, “The chamber continues to be focused on community and we are proud to once again partner with the Mystic Fire Chief Chris Clarkin, the local police departments and high schools to continue this parade tradition.”
