Mystic Firefest is the first annual benefit for B.F. Hoxie Engine Co. No 1 and Mystic Hook and Ladder Co. The Mystic fire companies are volunteers who dedicate their services to support the needs of the community taking time away from their daily life to help those in need.
Mystic Firefest will be held on September 17 at the new Tree Trail Adventures in Mystic (formally Fields of Fire). The event opens at noon and will end at 8:00 PM and will feature 50 art & crafters, children activities, tree climbing activities, food trucks and Mystic restaurants serving local fare and specialty cocktails, beer and wine. Music will be provided by Mystic's Dan Watson, Nick Bosse and the national touring group High Noon tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd and southern rock.
