Mystic Road Work Begins Next Week, Drivers Should Expect Delays

STONINGTON, CT — The Town of Stonington is advising drivers about nighttime milling and paving in Mystic.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation work will begin May 12. The milling and paving will occur from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The roadwork route includes the following:

  • Starts at Lincoln Ave and Roosevelt Ave
  • Broadway to East Main Street
  • West Main Street to Allyn Street intersection
  • Returning down to Water Street
  • Ending at the New London intersection

The work is supposed to wrap up by May 23, weather permitting.

Drivers are advised to plan accordingly and expect delays during work hours.
