Residents Can Learn About Minimizing Taxes and Estate Planning at Library Seminars

"How to Minimize Taxes in Retirement" session at the Mystic & Noank Library on Tuesday, November 4

With the end of the year getting ever-closer, and many people nearly one year closer to retirement, thoughts often turn to the subject of taxes and savings in retirement. There are numerous ways to protect retirement income from higher taxes and achieve financial security in retirement with sufficient advance planning as part of a comprehensive financial plan. Knowing how to get the most out of Social Security – and when to begin receiving those monthly payments – is also a key factor, as is considering how best to navigate the inevitable costs of healthcare.

Connecticut financial planning and wealth management firm Fuchs Financial, led by founder Ben Fuchs, will be sharing their expertise with three seminars upcoming this week. The firm, with offices in Middletown, West Hartford, Middlebury, and Mystic, was recently voted Best Financial Management Company for 2025 in the Best of Hartford Readers Poll, conducted and published by The Hartford Courant.

Fuchs Financial will be offering a “How to Minimize Taxes in Retirement” session at the Mystic & Noank Library on Tuesday, November 4 at 12:30 and on Wednesday, November 5 at 12:30 PM at the Russell Library in Middletown, and online webinars on Estate Planning, on Thursday, November 6, at 12:00 and 6:00 PM. Registration is now open for each of the seminars, all of which are free of charge.
