Santa’s Tugboat Arrival, Lighted Boat Parade Return to Mystic
Details about Santa's arrival by tugboat and the 22nd annual Lighted Boat Parade have been released.

MYSTIC, CT — Santa’s arrival by tugboat and the 22nd annual Lighted Boat Parade are scheduled for Nov. 29, marking the start of the holiday season in Mystic.
A holiday artisan market on Cottrell Street will run from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Nine local vendors are expected.
Santa is set to reach Mystic River Park at 2 p.m. aboard the Thames Towboat Company’s John Paul. He will greet children until 3:30 p.m.

The tree lighting at Mystic River Park begins at 6 p.m. The Lighted Boat Parade will follow, featuring illuminated vessels moving along the Mystic River. The parade will be simulcast by WFSB.
Event details, including parking information, viewing maps, and additional waterfront viewing information, are available at the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce's website and through the Go Mystic app.

“Nothing captures the spirit of Mystic quite like Santa arriving by tugboat and the glow of boats lighting up the river,” Chamber President Bruce Flax said.
Mystic’s Lantern Luminaria Stroll is scheduled for Dec. 2. Local performers, including school groups and community ensembles, will appear throughout downtown. Merchants will offer extended hours as the community marks the start of the holiday shopping season.
