'Spring Nickel Beer Day' At Mystic Seaport, Details Released
Sample mugs and five wooden "nickels" for tastings will be available for $10 each at the festive event this weekend.
MYSTIC, CT — Mystic Seaport Museum will host its Spring Nickel Beer Day on Saturday, April 26, from noon to 4 p.m. outside the Spouter Tavern.
"Set against the backdrop of historic ships, sparkling waters, and beautifully landscaped grounds, this festive afternoon will feature live music by Ethan Cash, an acoustic artist from Southeastern Connecticut known for his eclectic mix of rock, pop, country, R&B, and reggae — spanning everything from 1960s classics to modern hits," according to a Mystic Seaport Museum statement.
Attendees can sample beverages from regional brewers and distillers, including Whalers Rhode Island, Grey Sail Brewing, Schooners Hard Ciders, Veritable Distillery, and South County Distillery.
Tasting mugs and five wooden nickels for samples will be available for $10.
Admission to the museum is required to attend, but no separate event ticket is needed.
