STONINGTON, CT — The Board of Police Commissioners is proposing changing a traffic ordinance that would increase fines and allow the town to add parking meters, The New London Day reported.

The proposed amendment would increase fines from $25 to $50. It would also allow the board to authorize parking meters in town.
