"With international travel more expensive than ever, Americans are rediscovering the magic of their own backyard - and they’re skipping the packed coastlines for beaches that feel like well-kept secrets," Frugal Flyer wrote. "According to recent trends, travelers are heading to under-the-radar coastal escapes where parking is easy, cell service is optional, and the views are postcard-perfect."
Here's what the website had to say about duBois Beach:

"Tucked at the edge of the Stonington Borough, duBois Beach is a small, community-loved retreat in southeastern Connecticut. With calm, shallow waters and old wooden piers, it’s perfect for families and peaceful swims. The beach offers postcard views of lighthouses and fishing boats, and its quiet charm still feels worlds away from the busier Connecticut shorelines."
duBois Beach came in at No. 77.
It's not the first time duBois has received accolades — the beach also made The Boston Globe's 20 best beaches to visit in New England.
The beach is "located at the southernmost tip of Water Street at Stonington Point, where you'll enjoy a magnificent view of Stonington Harbor, Fisher's Island Sound and Little Narragansett Bay," according to the Borough of Stonington's website.
The top three secret beaches are (surprise, surprise) in Hawaii.
