Unique Sweet Shop Charts Reopening At New Pawcatuck Location

STONINGTON, CT — Waffle Pop Sweet Shop is reopening at a new location next month. The store will open at 110 W. Broad St. in Pawcatuck, as reported by The Connecticut Scoop.
The store will open Aug. 15, according to its Facebook page.
Previously, Waffle Pop Sweet Shop was located in The Velvet Mill on Bayview Avenue.

The shop specializes in "delicious, smothered, dipped, and sprinkled waffles, artisanal gelato, and sorbetto," according to its website.
The made-to-order waffle pops come in a wide range of flavors like peach cobbler, cherry cheesecake, peanut butter cup, and s'mores.
