3 Hospitalized After Crash In Stratford: Police

Three people were hospitalized after a crash involving a motorcycle and a car Monday evening in Stratford, according to police.

STRATFORD, CT — Three people were hospitalized after a crash involving a motorcycle and a car Monday evening in Stratford, according to police.

Police responded around 6:10 p.m. on May 12 to the crash near the intersection of East Main Street and Ward Street, according to Capt. Robert Burroughs.

Burroughs said preliminary reports and witness statements indicate that a 26-year-old man from Monroe was operating a motorcycle traveling northbound on East Main Street when it collided with a vehicle occupied by a 59-year-old male driver and a 21-year-old female passenger, who are both Stratford residents.

All three people were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash, according to Burroughs.

The extent of the injuries was not disclosed on Monday night.
