4th Of July Holiday Announcements In Stratford

STRATFORD, CT — In observance of the Fourth of July holiday, Stratford Town Hall offices will close early on Thursday, July 3, at 2:30 p.m.

Please note that Baldwin Center, as well as the offices of the Tax Collector, Tax Assessor, and Town Clerk will close at 2 p.m. Residents planning to conduct business with these departments are advised to plan accordingly.

All Town offices will be closed on Friday, July 4, 2025, in observance of Independence Day.

  • There will be NO refuse, recycling or yard waste collection on Friday, July 4, 2025 in observance of the Fourth of July. All routes will be collected one day late with Friday’s route to be picked up on Saturday.
  • The Transfer Station on Watson Boulevard will be CLOSED on July 4th but will be open on Saturday, July 5.
