8 Rescued After Boat Strikes Break Wall In Milford
Firefighters from Milford and Stratford helped bring eight people and one dog to shore after the Saturday night crash.
MILFORD, CT — Eight people and a dog were rescued from a boat after it struck a break wall in Milford Saturday night, according to local authorities.
The Stratford Police Department's Marine 1 vessel was on patrol and responded "immediately," Stratford Police Captain Frank Eannotti said in an email to local media outlets.
Several of the people on board the boat had head and neck injuries, Eannotti said.

Firefighters from Milford and Stratford responded soon after, and the eight people and one dog were being transported to shore.
On 7.24.21 at approx. 9:30pm SPD received a 911 call regarding a boat that struck the break wall in Milford, Dispatch advised there were numerous parties on board with injuries.
