Buck's Annual Baseball Camp Is Just Days Away

Calling All Youngsters To Enjoy A Top Notch Baseball Experience

Legendary Stratford baseball enthusiast and Stratford High School Head Coach Mickey Buckmir and the entire Stratford High baseball coaching staff in cooperation with the Stratford Recreation Department and the Stratford Police Activities League will be holding their eighth year of baseball camp where youngsters will learn the finer points of fielding, throwing, base running, and hitting.

There are openings still available as signups continue to grow.


The dedicated coaching staff (All Volunteering their time) of Skip Lance and Jim Sarantides, as well as numerous Stratford Police Officers, and guest instructors will lead the way in providing a fun filled time of baseball instruction from basic baseball fundamental drills to advanced techniques.

The camp’s mission remains the same “ To make each player better today than they were yesterday”.

Many players have go on to play baseball at their respective high schools and also onto the collegiate level.

The camp will start on Monday July 15th and will run daily until Friday July 19th from 9:00am - 12:00pm.

The camp will take place at the historical Penders Field at Longbrook Park. As the camp gets closer updates will be provided to the Stratford Patch.
