Update : Countdown has begun for Buck's Baseball Camp 2025

A tradition years in the making, the Coach Buck’s Summer Baseball Camp returns to Penders Field this July. The week-long instruction camp running from Monday, July 14th through Friday, July 18th offers 3 hours of baseball action and playing each day from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.

Stratford High’s Head Coach Mick Buckmir, his assistants (Coach Skip Lance, Coach Jim Sarantides, & Coach Maurice Scioletti), plus many of the current Stratford High baseball players will headline the camp being offered and operated by the Stratford Recreation Department.

Guest instructors and former Stratford High players now playing in college may also join in the daily action.

The camp welcomes ballplayers and young athletes from incoming 1st graders to incoming 9th graders with daily groupings ranging from beginners to intermediate to advanced. The cost for the week is $100.
