COVID-19 Test Kit Distribution Postponed In Stratford
The town planned to distribute COVID-19 at-home rapid test kits to residents on Thursday, Dec. 30.

STRATFORD, CT — The COVID-19 test kit distribution that was scheduled to take place in Stratford on Thursday has been delayed, Mayor Laura R. Hoydick announced.
Gov. Ned Lamont’s office has notified municipalities that the state’s supply of COVID-19 test kits has been delayed due to shipping and warehouse-related issues.
“While we are disappointed that we are not able to execute our plan for delivering these test kits to Stratford residents today, we thank everyone for their patience and flexibility as we await the delivery,” Hoydick said in an update on Thursday morning. “We will reschedule the test kit drive throughs as soon as we are able.”
