Driver Showed Gun During Road Rage Incident In Stratford: State Police
A man is accused of showing a gun during a road rage incident on the Merritt Parkway in Stratford, according to Connecticut State Police.
STRATFORD, CT — A Bridgeport man is accused of showing a gun during a road rage incident on the Merritt Parkway in Stratford on Thursday afternoon, according to Connecticut State Police.
State troopers were notified around 3:45 p.m. of a road rage incident that happened on Route 15 South in the area of Exit 52, according to police.
Police said a man called 911 and reported that he and another man were involved in a road rage incident where the other man displayed a gun.

Troopers contacted the victim and obtained the registration for the suspect vehicle.
The victim told troopers that the road rage incident began after both vehicles were in traffic for nearly 30 minutes, and the suspect vehicle had cut him off several times, according to police.

Police said the suspect vehicle was identified as a white Kia that was registered to 34-year-old Steven Moore of Bridgeport.
Troopers contacted Moore at his home, where police said he admitted to driving the Kia at the time of the incident.
Further investigation led troopers to find a loaded Glock handgun inside the Kia that Moore was driving, according to police.
Police said the firearm along with its loaded magazine were seized as evidence.
Moore was arrested and charged with first-degree threatening with a firearm and second-degree breach of peace. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of March 6.
