EMS Answer The Call During Coronavirus Outbreak: Stratford Heroes

STRATFORD, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

Provide emergency life-safety services.

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Stratford EMS has been ready and prepared to save lives during this pandemic, responding to hundreds of medical calls for COVID-19 as well as other medical emergencies. Full time, part-time and volunteers have been responding to all medical calls in the town, regardless of the danger posed to their own safety and the safety of their families.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?
The administration, staff and volunteers of Stratford EMS are selfless, caring, compassionate and dedicated to the health of Stratford and the surrounding community always. They have truly answered the call during these difficult times.
