Four Teams Remain in 2024 WMS
The winners bracket final game and the loser bracket semi-final moved to Sunday as a violent thunderstorm rips through the area.
Play resumed on Saturday in the 2024 WMS National Championship Tournament.
The first game on the day saw the Junior Brakettes pickup a win in a resumed game from Friday night as they went on to beat the Ct Rebels 9-2. The winning pitcher was Sydney Adolfson going the distance in the effort. Rebels Morgan Pelletier homered in the loss.
The Stripes and Strikes handled the Junior Brakettes 13-1 to go into the winners bracket final.

The winning pitcher was Tori Fletcher and the losing pitcher was Karissa Spring. Homering for the winners was Marissa Trivilpiece (2) and Courtney Wyche.
Central Jersey Lightning went to the winners bracket final by besting the Stratford Brakettes 4-1. Sam Gress was the winning pitcher and Sarah Davenport earned a save in relief pitching the seventh. Sophia DiCocco suffered the loss. Haley Ahr and Kelsey Carr homered for the Lightning.

The loser bracket semi-final was set up as the Junior Brakettes handled and eliminated the Mid-Hudson Mustangs 20-3. Emily Rerrick got the win and Dakota Nadeau took the loss.
It was the Stratford Brakettes over the Ct Rebels 10-0 over at Short Beach to reach the semi-finals. Anna Gedacht got the win and Caitlin Conley took the loss.
The winners bracket final between the Stripes and Strikes and the Central Jersey Lightning was suspended in the 2nd inning and is scheduled to resume at 11:00 Sunday Morning.
The loser bracket game between the Junior Brakettes and the Stratford Brakettes was postponed and is scheduled for Sunday morning.
