The news of Americo’s passing breaks my heart.
His family will certainly feel the most pain and my deepest sympathies go out to them but we at Gesswein feel he is part of our family as well.
He joined us in Sept 1985 in our newly established technical dept and learned every aspect of jewelry making equipment and soon after was helping customers by repairing their old machines and upselling new ones when they couldn’t be repaired.
He went to Italy to learn the Galloni line of casting machines.
Many other visits abroad to manufacturers to learn and train on their line of products and soon was our “expert” who each of us turned to when we could no longer help the customer. He attended trade shows worldwide as well as sales calls to customers helping them improve their manufacturing processes.
Americo was unique. Not only passionate about helping customers and our salesforce but a genuine down to earth gentleman who gave so much to each of us and our company as well.
God bless him and his family.
