Obituary: Carolyn Conte Morrissey Pistey, 79, of Stratford

STRATFORD, CT - (From Pistey Funeral Home) Carolyn Conte Morrissey Pistey, age 79 of Stratford and wife of 43 years to Alan Pistey, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021 in Bridgeport Hospital.

Carolyn was born in Bridgeport to the late Adolph and Estelle Conte. Carolyn was a certified Reiki Master of 15 years. She had an innate gift to help heal people.

Carolyn dedicated many years to energy healing and teaching, helping many people with her gift.

In addition to her husband, Alan Pistey, Carolyn is survived by her son, David John Morrissey of Milford; her grandchildren, Megan and David Morrissey; great grandson, Mason Guy; her brother, Ronald Conte (Deborah) of Cape Cod, MA; her sister, Patricia Conte Nelson (Bob) of FL; her brother-in-law, Mark Pistey (Linda) of Boynton Beach, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was predeceased by her sons, Ronald and Kevin Morrissey.

Friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main Street, Stratford.

Friends may call that morning from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Masks are required. Interment will be private.
