Obituary: Gloria A. Voytek, 92, of Stratford
Gloria was a regular donor to the Shriners, Wounded Warriors and D.A.V. and was a volunteer with the Ladies Guild of Holy Name.

STRATFORD, CT - (From Adzima Funeral Home) Gloria A. Voytek, age 92, of Stratford, the beloved widow of Frederick Voytek, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021.
Born in Middletown, CT to the late Aime and Ethel (Smith) Binette, she has been a resident of Stratford for over 50 years. Gloria worked in her younger years for American Fabric and Honeycomb before retiring from Bradlees.
She was a regular donor to the Shriners, Wounded Warriors and D.A.V. She crocheted with the Ladies Guild of Holy Name and donated the blankets to Project Linus.
Survivors include her devoted sons, David Voytek of Stratford and Craig Voytek and his wife Gail of Trumbull, 4 cherished grandchildren, Eric, Alex, Zachary and Stephanie Voytek, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and beloved husband, Gloria was predeceased by her brother, Charles Binette and sisters, Eileen Bochino and Barbara Binette.
The family would like to thank the staff of Bishop Wicke Health Care Center in Shelton for the wonderful care they provided her.
A Visitation will take place on Wednesday December 1, 2021, from 9-10 a.m. in Holy Name of Jesus Church 1950 Barnum Avenue Stratford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.
Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery Stratford.
The Adzima Funeral Home- Stratford has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
