Obituary: Guy Richard Gallo, 69, of Stratford
Guy, a dedicated family man, was a US Air Force veteran, member of the Knights of Columbus, St. James Council and the American Legion.
STRATFORD, CT - (From Pistey Funeral Home) Guy Richard Gallo, age 69, of Stratford, died on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, West Haven where he fought to his last breath.
Guy was born in Stamford to the late Samuel and Mildred Gallo. He was a graduate of J.M. Wright Technical School, Stamford. He was a US Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.
Guy was a devout Catholic and member of the Knights of Columbus, St. James Council and the American Legion.
In addition to his wife Debbie, he is survived by two beloved children, Guy “Joey” R. Gallo and his wife Diana of Shelton and Amanda Babis and her husband, Joe of Derby; two grandchildren Zoey and Brandon Gallo; his brother, Tad Gallo and his wife, Bonnie of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 12 pm at Our Lady of Peace Church, Stratford. Interment with military honors following at St Joseph of Stratford Cemetery.
Visitation on Tuesday from 9 am to 11:30 am at the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main St., Stratford.
